Rivercrest is a 283-acre golf course community that features an 18-hole golf course, 295 residential units, a swimming pool, clubhouse, nature center, and nature preserve. Residential units include single family homes and townhouses. McCloskey & Faber, P.C. performed master planning and site design services for the clubhouse, bag-drop off area and main entrance feature. We also developed landscape plans for street trees, landscaping and perimeter buffers. This site is unique in that it overlooks the Valley Forge National Park and is sited on ridge lines with environmentally sensitive valleys. We documented storm water filters and wet garden plantings in these areas that act as living biological filters to protect the valley's ecosystem.
