Location:Allentown, Pennsylvania After several years of site location feasibility diligence, the Parkland Library selected an appropriate site for its future new home in Upper Macungie Township, Pennsylvania. The library has decided to pursue a LEED accreditation of Silver. McCloskey & Faber has developed site feasibility concept plans for the various potential site locations. Once the final site was selected, McCloskey & Faber developed site layout, landscape, lighting, and signage plans. Native landscaping and bio-swales, careful site layout consideration, and a low energy/high performance lighting design were prepared to achieve a sustainable site design and pursue LEED credits. Construction Documentation was prepared and McCloskey & Faber additionally worked with the Township and other agencies to gain approvals. |
