Stony Creek Sports Park was designed to accommodate one of the nation's fastest growing sports, in-line hockey. The 12.7 acre park Master Plan shows three in-line hockey rinks (at both junior and official dimensions) with sports lighting, bleachers, a press box, concession stand, football/multi-purpose field, and parking. An exercise trail and tot lot are also planned. Phase I of Stony Creek was opened to the public in the summer of 2002, and future expansion to adjacent land is under consideration.
